Football season is here!

No matter who you cheer for, whose jersey you don, all of us football fans can agree on one thing – you need good food for watching the game. Food is such a big part of watching football, whether it’s tailgating, eating out, or making a big spread to enjoy at home, there must be good food!

Best Foods For Watching The Game

One of Superior Woodcraft’s own is a foodie and food blogger and has pulled together some of her favorite dishes for watching the game. There is really something for everyone, and  we are hoping she will make ALL of them for us! These recipes are just a tip of the iceberg – she has 10 years worth of amazing recipes on her blog, Mary Ellen’s Cooking Creations, so be sure to take a look.

Think jalapeno poppers crossed with a BLT dip – Cheesy BLT Stuffed Jalapenos.

Only have a few minutes to prep? This Loaded Baked Potato Dip comes together faster than the refs can throw a flag for a false start.

Along the baked potato theme, look at these adorable Loaded Baked Potato Bites (quick tip – make extra mashed potatoes so you have it leftover for this appetizer!).

Pizza with a twist – use eggroll wrappers to make these Pepperoni Pizza Rolls.

If you want something a bit fancier, try this Grilled Flank Steak Crostini.

These mini sandwiches can be fully prepped ahead and then popped in the oven when you are ready to eat. Sweet Ham and Swiss Sliders are always a hit!

For something more filling that can still be prepped ahead, try these Oven-Baked Beef and Bean Burritos. Our favorite part of this recipe is the cheesy jalapeno sauce!
