8th Annual Bucks Locavore – Returning Participants

Posted: February 18, 2017

The 8th Annual Bucks Locavore is just a few days away! We are thrilled that so many of our past producers are returning to participate in this networking event.  Some of them include –

At Saucy Sue’s it’s all about the sauce! All of the sauces are made in small batches using high quality ingredients and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Hewn Spirits is a local, handcrafted, small-batch distillery. Their spirits start with locally sourced Bucks County grains and after fermentation are hand crafted in to small batches in their handmade copper pot still. They are located in Pipersville, PA and also have a tasting room in Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, PA.

Offbeat Gourmet is a small, family owned local business that creates premium, gourmet condiments using only the best, locally sourced, 100% natural ingredients that are gluten free. Their line of condiments ranges from sweet fruit spreads, jams and hot sauces to dry rubs and grilling condiments.

Don’t Worry BEE Healthy provides a selection of natural products – raw honey, coconut oil, essential oils, lip balm and specialty teas – that are free from chemicals and preservatives.

Rose Bank Winery defines rustic elegance in the heart of Bucks County. The estate offers wedding and party facilities for any special event, and the wines include both French-style wines and award-winning American fruit wines.

Bucks County Preserves produces locally made jams, jellies, and pie fillings, using as much locally produced as possible. They currently offer 82 different flavors of jams & jellies, from simple to exotic, including flower jellies. Pie fillings round out their product offerings.

Crooked Eye Brewery is a family owned brewery located in Hatboro, PA. What started as a hobby has turned into a 7 barrel brewery producing 220 gallons per batch, with all 11 beers on tap at the bar located at the brewery.

Thank you to these fellow local companies for participating and sharing your products with our local community at this event.

To meet these local companies (and many, many more!) and sample their products at the Locavore on Thursday, February 23rd at Superior Woodcraft, please visit the event’s Facebook page.   It is sure to be a night you won’t want to miss!
