The Doylestown Food Co-op Inaugural Celebrity Chef Farm to Table Dinner

farm to table dinner 1On August 22, the Doylestown Food Co-op hosted its inaugural Celebrity Chef Farm to Table Dinner at the Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow. The dinner served as the Co-op’s largest fundraiser of the year and was a lively community gathering with delicious food prepared with ingredients from local farms.

 

With a background in dining and hospitality, it madefarm to table dinner 3 perfect sense for Doylestown Mayor and Chef Ron Strouse to generously lend a helping hand. Chef Ron co-owned and operated Evermay-on-the-Delaware, a historic inn in Erwinna before entering into public service.  He has kept his culinary skills finely tuned farm to table dinner 4and served up an interesting and delicious menu.

The dining experience was accompanied by a silent auction and music by local jazz quartet “Jazz with Friends.”farm to table dinner
